- Consolidated Group revenue increased by 7% to RM931.9 million
- Profit after tax rose to RM252.1 million
- Stable year-on-year momentum, driven by Wholesale and Retail segments
Shah Alam, 27 August 2026 – TIME dotCom Berhad (Time or the Group) today reported its financial results for the first half ended 30 June 2026, supported by sustained demand for data and connectivity across its Wholesale and Retail market segments.
Consolidated Group revenue rose to RM931.9 million, an increase of 7% compared to the same period last year (1H 2025: RM874.3 million). Growth was anchored primarily by strong demand for the Group’s core data offerings.
Profit after tax for 1H 2026 rose to RM252.1 million, driven by higher overall revenue, improvement in margins and lower net foreign exchange losses.
In line with its balance sheet optimisation initiative, Time issued RM500 million in Sukuk Murabahah on 7 August 2026 for debt refinancing and to fund capital expenditure, investments and general working capital requirements of the Group.
“Our performance in the first half of the year reflects our relentless focus on delivering reliable, high-quality connectivity to our customers. As customer needs evolve, our core data and infrastructure solutions continue to anchor our growth. We remain focused on strengthening our network and maintaining a disciplined approach to operational execution,” said Loh Jenkim, Time’s Group Chief Executive Officer.
Supported by the Group’s profitability and available cash position, the Board declared a special interim tax exempt (single-tier) dividend of 5.41 sen per ordinary share. The dividend, amounting to RM100.0 million, will be paid out on 25 September 2026.
The Group remains focused on the long-term development of its connectivity business through continued investments in network expansion and coverage footprint, alongside enhancements to its products and solutions to deliver innovative customer-centric solutions.
Moving forward, the Group will maintain a prudent stance amid economic uncertainties and evolving industry dynamics with a view to enhance asset yields. Balance sheet optimisation and capital management initiatives remain central to driving long-term value creation and sustainable shareholder returns.
The Group remains committed to advancing its sustainability agenda by progressively embedding ESG across operations and further developing its renewable energy initiatives in support of its Net Zero ambitions. Time also continues to contribute to the nation’s larger sustainability agenda as reflected in the recent completion of the first phase of its Green Rewards Programme for homeowners by the Group’s energy subsidiary, Time Energy Sdn Bhd. This programme is an initiative allowing corporate buyers to source community-generated solar renewable energy certificates from residential rooftops.
